Yesterday was the shortest day of the year; that means that, 1. the days only get longer from here on in, which is perfect and 2. it’s pretty darn cold. I bought my last vintage fur for a long time (from a charity shop, Rathmines) and teamed it with animal print and messed up hair to create a “morning after” look. I really love it when hair just looks that little bit undone, plus it suits leopard print almost as much as Rod Stewart’s leggings!

Stunning! You have such beautiful snaps in your blog. Adore your style – especially the vintage pieces. Can you recommend any good vintage/charity spots in Dublin? The only place I seem to pick up pieces is at The Bernard Shaw car boot sales… x
Hey KelleBelle, Thanks for stopping by and leaving a message, Lovng your blog also. I bought a grey bralet from Topshop last week! Love them, they’re so cute! I will get round to posting, but maybe after a few diet days!
I really like what your posting and am hugely impressed that you work full time and post so much! Trés impressive!
So 1stly charity shops, I find that from the top of Georges Street on Dame Street all the way to Rathmines charity shops are the best, and if you do it on toe jam day then you can drop by the GBS! Some of those have vintage section and Oxfam Vintage is exactly that!
Georges Street Arcade and
Temple Bar (Crow Street) also have some great shops / stalls for vintage (can be expensive) though not as expensive as
the little shop behind Georges Street Arcade I think it’s called Harlequin, it had some divine pieces
Jenny Vander also has some beautiful pieces and
The Loft Market has stalls with vintage pieces (check opening times I think it’s just the weekend it open)
Online http://www.vintagedresses.ie by Perk Up Vintage are also defo worth a gander, seeing as you hate snow stay in a vintage shop! I say that but vintage sizes are ridiculously varied so maybe that was a silly suggestion!
Anyway good luck! xxx
Wow! That’s so helpful – thanks a mill
Ohh yes I always forget about Harlequinn! Great spot! Will check out the others you’ve mentioned too. In search of the perfect vintage coat! x
