Hey All,

I don’t know what I love more; the way the low, bright sunshine hits the spires on that Neo Gothic church or the way it brings out the vibrant yellow of the Daffodils. Either way, what I do know is that I want to bask in it.

I have a secret crush on Sid Vicious… I was watching his performance of My Way (originally by Frank Sinatra) on Youtube last week. I may well be slightly biased but, his outfit in it is pretty darn perfect; white tuxedo jacket, black boots, black leather trousers, spiked hair and, most significantly a white garter. I went straight to Debenhams and bought one. I sewed the long piece of ribbon to it; I wanted this one to be as similar to the one Sid Vicious wore.

If you haven’t seen the video I’ve posted it below.

For the want of a disco ball…

When you’re laying so close to me
there’s no place I’d rather you be
than with me here

I love to love you baby…

Do it to me again and again
you put me in such an awful spin
in a spin

I love to love you baby…

Lay your head down real close to me
soothe my mind and set me free
set me free

I love to love you baby…

Hey All,

I just thought I’d post a couple of pics from a night out in town last week; I’d met my friend at BT’s and loved the gold window Louis Vuitton display. But this is about the trousers, they are possibly the best bargain I’ve ever found. Celine… €7, I thank you. Just to balance out the glamour, I styled them with Penney’s / Primark wedges and an H&M top. They’re definitely my favourite thing in the wardrobe right now and I’m delighted that we’re heading into Autumn. I won’t be wearing them too much this year; pale trousers and Dublin rain are not the best of friends, but they’re classic enough that I’ll be able to wear them next spring/summer instead.

Kings of Concrete. July 3rd & 4th, Wood Quay, Dublin 2.

I’ll admit it, I had a bit of a thing for skateboarders when I was about 14; in fact, I was always crushing on the boys who did it. Funnily enough, I was speaking to an old school friend recently who kindly reminded me of the enormous (and darn obvious) crush I had on a boy in the 6th year. He had all but the front of his head shaved where there was a long fringe and a skateboard perma-glued to his feet. *sigh*. By the time I got to 6th year, skateboards had been replaced by cars and going to bars and grown-up stuff like that. So crushing on skateboarders became a just cute little memory. I’ve never stopped being hugely impressed by it though, if there is anything that can make me secretly wish I could gender-swap for a day, it’s a good ollie.

Just in case you are at a loss as to what I’m on about:
